개요
WeatherWear(이하 "앱")는 회원가입이나 로그인 없이 이용할 수 있으며, 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 개인을 식별할 수 있는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 대부분의 데이터는 이용자의 기기(브라우저) 안에만 저장되고, 서버에는 저장되지 않습니다.
계정 없음 · 별도 회원정보 없음 · 광고·이용 행태 추적(애널리틱스) 없음
1처리하는 정보와 목적
- 위치 정보(위도·경도) — 위치 권한을 허용하거나 도시를 직접 검색할 때 사용됩니다. 날씨·코디 조회 용도로만 쓰이며, 정확도를 낮추기 위해 소수점 약 2자리(≈1km)로 반올림하여 요청에 사용하고 서버에 저장하지 않습니다.
- IP 주소 — 모든 웹 요청에 기본적으로 포함되며, 위치 권한이 없을 때 대략적인 지역(국가·도시)을 추정하는 데에만 순간적으로 사용됩니다. 별도로 저장·기록하지 않습니다.
- 이용자 설정 — 성별, 연령대, 스타일 선호, 체감온도 민감도, 선택한 도시, 광고 제거 여부 등. 기기의 쿠키/로컬스토리지에만 저장됩니다. 코디 추천을 받을 때 익명 상태로 서버에 전달되어 즉시 처리에만 사용되며 저장되지 않습니다.
수집·이용 목적: ① 현재 위치 기반 날씨 제공, ② 날씨에 맞는 옷차림 추천, ③ 스타일에 맞는 상품 추천, ④ 앱 설정(지역·언어·광고 설정) 유지. 위 목적 외의 용도로는 사용하지 않습니다.
2서버 저장 여부
날씨·코디 추천 요청은 처리 후 서버에 저장되지 않습니다. 상품 추천은 서버 데이터베이스에 미리 저장된 상품 목록을 조회하는 방식이며, 이 과정에서 이용자의 개인정보가 저장되지 않습니다.
서버와의 모든 통신은 HTTPS(TLS)로 암호화됩니다.
3제3자 서비스
서비스 제공을 위해 아래 외부 서비스를 이용하며, 이 과정에서 위치 좌표·IP 등이 해당 서비스에 전달될 수 있습니다.
- 날씨·대기질 — Open-Meteo, 기상청 공공데이터(data.go.kr)
- 지역·주소 검색 — OpenStreetMap(Nominatim), Kakao 지도, Open-Meteo Geocoding
- 글꼴 — Google Fonts
- 상품 링크 — 쿠팡 파트너스, Amazon Associates
- 결제(광고 제거) — Google Play 결제(안드로이드 앱 설치 시)
각 서비스의 개인정보 처리는 해당 사업자의 방침을 따릅니다.
4광고 및 제휴
앱은 쿠팡 파트너스 등 제휴 링크를 통해 상품을 추천합니다. 링크를 누르면 해당 판매 사이트로 이동하며, 이후의 정보 처리는 해당 사이트의 방침을 따릅니다. 이용자가 구매할 경우 앱은 제휴 수수료를 받을 수 있습니다.
광고 제거 상품을 구매하면 상품 추천 광고가 표시되지 않습니다.
5보관 기간 및 삭제
- 서버에 개인정보를 저장하지 않으므로 별도의 서버 보유 기간이 없습니다.
- 기기에 저장된 설정·도시·캐시 등은 이용자가 브라우저의 데이터/캐시 삭제 또는 앱 삭제로 언제든지 지울 수 있습니다.
- 위치 권한은 기기(휴대폰)의 앱 설정에서 언제든 해제할 수 있습니다.
6아동의 개인정보
앱은 개인을 식별하는 정보를 수집하지 않으며, 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 별도의 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
7변경 및 문의
본 방침이 변경될 경우 이 페이지를 통해 변경 내용과 시행일을 안내합니다. 수집 항목 추가나 제3자 제공 등 중요한 변경은 시행일 최소 7일 전에 공지합니다.

Overview
WeatherWear ("the App") can be used without sign-up or login, and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Most data is stored only on your device (browser) and is not stored on our servers.
No account · No membership info · No advertising or behavioral tracking (analytics)
1Information We Process and Why
- Location data (latitude·longitude) — Used when you grant location permission or search for a city directly. It is used only to look up weather and outfit recommendations. To reduce precision it is rounded to about 2 decimal places (≈1km) for requests, and it is not stored on our servers.
- IP address — Included by default in every web request; used only momentarily to estimate your approximate region (country·city) when location permission is not granted. It is not separately stored or logged.
- User settings — Gender, age group, style preference, temperature sensitivity, selected city, ad-removal status, and so on. Stored only in your device's cookies/local storage. When you request outfit recommendations, these are sent to the server anonymously, used only for immediate processing, and not stored.
Purposes: ① provide weather for your current location, ② recommend outfits suited to the weather, ③ recommend products matching your style, ④ keep your app settings (region, language, ad preferences). We do not use this information for any purpose other than the above.
2Server Storage
Weather and outfit recommendation requests are not stored on the server after processing. Product recommendations work by querying a product list pre-stored in the server database; no personal information is stored during this process.
All communication with the server is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
3Third-Party Services
To provide the service, we use the external services below. In the process, data such as location coordinates and IP address may be transmitted to them.
- Weather·air quality — Open-Meteo, Korea Meteorological Administration open data (data.go.kr)
- Region·address search — OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), Kakao Map, Open-Meteo Geocoding
- Fonts — Google Fonts
- Product links — Coupang Partners, Amazon Associates
- Payment (ad removal) — Google Play billing (when the Android app is installed)
Each service's handling of personal information follows that provider's own policy.
4Advertising and Affiliates
The App recommends products through affiliate links such as Coupang Partners. Tapping a link takes you to the corresponding sales site, and any further handling of information follows that site's policy. If you make a purchase, the App may receive an affiliate commission.
If you purchase the ad-removal product, product recommendation ads are no longer shown.
5Retention and Deletion
- Because we do not store personal information on the server, there is no separate server retention period.
- Settings, selected city, and cache stored on your device can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser's data/cache or uninstalling the app.
- You can revoke location permission at any time in your device's app settings.
6Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personally identifiable information and does not separately collect information targeting children under the age of 14.
7Changes and Contact
If this policy changes, we will announce the changes and their effective date on this page. Significant changes — such as adding collected items or third-party sharing — will be announced at least 7 days before they take effect.
